What a week!

Just a few things:

Wednesday started a new school year for the area in which we live. 

San Clemente High School had a bomb threat on the first day! How sad for the freshman.

Thursday we had a power outage. A big one. Like, 1.4 million people were without power.

We went out to dinner. HA. We found a restaurant (cafe rio) still with power and ate there.

Then we came home and ate ice cream cones outside with our oil lamps.

Because that ice cream was not going to last the power outage! However our lamps, oh they kept burning! I'm convinced everyone should have oil lamps in time of a power outage. Huge life saver! 

And today Kelly accepted a new job at Fallen Footwear as their new Creative Director and Brand Manager. He starts Monday.
