6 pm: Homemade Cheese Pizza with a whole wheat crust. Yum!

6:30 pm: Baby gets bath

7 pm: Baby goes to sleep
7:15 pm: Toddler throws tantrum because she doesn't want to take a bath and refuses to wear underwear (um - don't think so, we wear those in our house)
7:30 pm: Toddler finally picks out new underwear and is dressed for bed
7:45 pm: Baby cries out - he gets his binky
7:55 pm: Toddler brushes her teeth and uses the potty
7:57 pm: Baby cries again - nurses and goes back to sleep
8:15 pm: Toddler in bed
8:16 pm: Toddler needs drink
8: 25 pm: Baby awake again
8: 27 pm: Baby asleep again
8:30 pm: Mix a box of brownies and put in the oven
8:32 pm: Toddler needs to go the bathroom
8:35 - 8:45 pm: Give baby binky again (how many times is this now?) Remind toddler it's bed time and it's time to sleep
8:55 pm: Silence
9:15 pm: Brownies out of the oven, topped with ice cream, and eaten by two very tired parents while we stare at the TV screen playing some really dumb but funny movie
11:05 pm: We go to sleep
And that, is how we party!
What no optional friday underwear day??? You are such a mean mom :)
ReplyDeleteYour kids are so cute, and your little guy reminds me of when my baby Cole was that small a year ago... I LOVE your recipes. I even stole that last one to use in our Recipe Exchange with my friends! Thanks girl!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it the life!! We wouldn't ask for anything different!
ReplyDeleteBesides the yummy food, that sounds like our life! It does get better, Brooklyn is a great sleeper now. Oh, I am in the same boat!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a typical night for our house too--except no more binkie and we are in bed much later. Your pizza looks great too!! I hope we can get together on Monday night!
