We took a little time for ourselves. We spent time in Island Park and West Yellowstone. It was fun. We didn't answer our cell phones, turn on a computer, or watch t.v. Seriously, it was awesome!

We went for walks and picked wild flowers.


We went to a yummy candy store for a few treats. All Daphne wanted was popcorn.


We read stories appropriate for the cabin.


We went to Big Springs and looked at the big fish under the bridge.


We strolled around West Yellowstone and made Daphne sit on this bear so we could take a picture.


We had several campfires.


And then we packed up and came home.

    we love island park and I have at least thirty pictures of that bridge and those fish and some home video footage as well. We love Idaho, hope you are loving it too.

    Looks like a blast! We are missing out on the family vacation because Luke doesn't think he can take off work. We are sad, but it looks like we might try to come in September to visit during the fair! If Luke's work is figured out by then, hopefully we will make it there.
