+ San Francisco: Alcatraz

This was probably our favorite spot that we visited. Alcatraz Island is home to the original Fort Alcatraz that was built as a military fort during the Civil War. Ironically the Civil War ended before it could be used. It was converted into a Federal Prison and housed some of the worlds most dangerous criminals. We toured the exterior and interior of The Rock, and even stood inside of some of the solitary confinement holding cells. Kelly swears he saw the ghost of Al "Scarface" Capone but I don't believe him.
