+ What A Weekend!

This weekend was pretty exciting, as Rachelle's friend Leah (who she hasn't seen since high school) came to Del Mar to visit. We had dinner with her & her husband, and Rachelle had a blast reminiscing about the good old days. We also went with some local friends to Palm Springs for the weekend. We must admit- Palm Springs isn’t as lush as the name implies. If hot, windy deserts (Palm Desert is home to those gargantuan windmills that you see in pictures) are your idea of a vacation, Palm Springs is the place for you! Although we recommend flying, NOT driving. A visit to the San Diego LDS Temple was also on the to-do list, and that was amazing! The temple is located right off of I5, and it is beautiful. Definitely an inspiring place to visit.
